Marketing Email Policy
Apex distinguishes ordinary service communications from promotional marketing communications.
Marketing emails sent by or on behalf of Apex will be managed with the intent to comply with applicable commercial-email requirements.
Apex’s process is to:
- Use accurate sender information;
- Avoid deceptive subject lines;
- Clearly identify the business responsible for the communication;
- Include a valid business postal address where required;
- Provide a clear method to opt out of future marketing messages;
- Process valid opt-out requests promptly;
- Avoid charging recipients to unsubscribe; and
- Maintain suppression records where reasonably necessary to prevent future marketing to recipients who have opted out.
An opt-out from marketing communications does not necessarily prevent Apex from sending legitimate transactional or relationship communications concerning an active inquiry, transaction, project, account, payment, security issue, or service relationship when legally permitted.
Apex will not intentionally sell an opt-out request or use an unsubscribe request as a mechanism to send additional marketing.
